Re: Fantasy Appalachia

have you read the Silver John stories (about a wandering hero with a guitar with silver strings) where he meets Appalacian magic (paizo xollwcted them as part of Planet Stories)

and the podcast Old Gods of Appalacia is also good inspiration

S5E12 The Begotten

I liked the Odo side of this Episode. The Kira plot was heavy handed and WOW is her boyfriend a tool. I mean, the actor is cool (he was also Dracula in the Monster Squad and Prince Blackthorn in Wizards & Warriors) but man, I don't like this Nipplehead. IT IS O'Brien's baby and this dude should ...

Re: S4E13 - Return to Grace

I have always enjoyed both Ziyal and Damar, though I never saw this episode. It also shows how good Kira is at adapting and succeeding at otherwise impossible tasks.

Re: S4E14 - the Sons of Mogh

This one was interesting, but I was not a fan of the outcome. It felt like the writers wrote themselves into a corner. I would have rather seen Kurn do something else like join the General or become a freedom fighter or even join the Maquis

Re: S4E15 - Bar Association

A great episode for all of the reasons you mentioned. I often wondered why they didnt try to recruit Rom sooner. I hope we get to see Nog's reaction to seeing his father excell out from under Quark. Star Trek Trope: Every one of O Brien's Ancestors was a decendant of someone famous. That sounds like...

s4e7 Little Green Men

Time travel earth episode featuring...the Ferengi What could possibly go wrong. Nog's coming of age ceremony is great. And Worf being taken to task for thinking that a Ferengi in Star Fleet is a mistake. A fun romp with Quark, Rom, and Nog getting trapped after crashing at Roswell in 1947... Quark h...

s4e9 Our Man Bashir

OMG- Fun episode. First - he makes his assistant Miss Mona Lovzitt... Plus, any Bashir/Garak Episode is always amazing. Kira with a bad russian accent... Obrien as a hit man. Dax as the "sexy Science Girl" Sisko as a Mastermind Villain chewing up the scenery Rom saving the day with his tec...

Re: S4E5 - Rejoined

An amazing Episode. Shows a lighter side of Dax that we haven't seen much of.

Plus, Julian and Dax the Magicians.

And pretty deep. I liked it.

Re: S4E4 - Indiscretion

I love how Dax sees nothing wrong in meddling in everyone else's love life. Did Dukat just pull a "Slavery was good for Bajorans?" Wow... Sort of a fanfic moment with Domme Kira and sub-Dukat in the cave... And the Jake and Ben scene is priceless... Plus, I never knew the Breen were all dr...

Re: S4E3 - Hippocratic Oath

Great plot and subplot. Worf is not the best investigator and Odo is a master detective. But the story of Julian and Miles was amazing. (I think this was an even better Episode than The Visitor) Julian has morals and a strong sense of duty and is a decent negotiator. And I like how they are angry bu...
