Re: S4E21 - The Drumhead

This episode is also noteworthy in having an Admiral that actually had his shit together. When he just stand up and walks out on her without saying anything... ouch.

Even in the 25th Century, there's no escaping the Peter Principle.

Re: S4E20 Qpid

I have it on good authority that a significant portion of Vash's appeal is as proof of concept that an age-appropriate woman could totally score with Patrick Stewart if she was saucy enough. Re: S4E11 Data's Day

Solid episode, one of those ones where the SF is just there, nicely integrated into the background, and more evidence that Brent Spiner is actually the creamy moral center of this entire confection.

Re: S1E12 - Datalore

This is the first of the 'Brent Spiner shows off his acting chops' episodes and I love it for that.

Lore's jealousy over what Data has and he doesn't is laid down here, and it's just so perfectly toxic as we'll see in later episodes.

A high point of Season 1 afaiac.

Re: S4E9 Final Mission

A really good Wesley episode, very much setting up the next one, which is one of the better episodes of the series.

The show's willingness to let Picard get beat up has always stood it in very good stead.

"Hello son, sorry the show fridged your mother."

Ugh.

That said, I agree with Rob, the one cool Klingon thing they introduced early-on, the death-howl, is the one thing they backed away from. Shame.
