Re: S4E2 Family

I will cop to having skipped this one for Watch Club. The episode doesn't live large in my memories of TNG, and I tend to skip this one on rewatches. Reading what y'all have had to say, though, makes me want to go back and revisit. So thanks, Watch Club!

Re: S3E26 - S4E1 - Best of Both Worlds (Part 1 and 2)

I absolutely love this episode. This is an example of something I encounter from time to time where I have trouble ranking a piece of a series, because a lot of what I love about it comes from what has come before. Like...there's no question that this is the episode from which I feel the most emotio...

Re: S3E22 - the Most Toys

The only thing I really wanted to say about this episode is that it is 100% my headcanon that Fajo is a distant descendant/relation of Artie from Warehouse 13.

Re: S3 E18 - Allegiance

I like this one a lot. (Season 3 just seems packed to the gills with strong episodes!) Part of what I like about this one besides being a strong Picard episode is that it's also a strong Patrick Stewart episode! He plays a double of his character that's just...a little bit off. Pretty impressive thi...

Re: S3E15 - Yesterday's Enterprise

I love this episode, too -- great on story and rich in lore. Good question about the interstitial flagship, PK! I never thought about that before!

Re: S3E13 - Deja Q

This is legit one of my absolute favorite episodes of the whole dang series -- enough that it gives "The Measure of a Man" a run for its money. And I don't think it's necessarily an overall thing...it may just be on the strength of a few key scenes. But one thing for sure...I consider the dialogue i...

Re: S2E9 - The Measure of A Man

Riker having to be the prosecution was a bit forced, but the emotions of the moment where he turned Data off, was visceral. Real talk, though, that scene bumped me hard. It's like...wow, I didn't know in the future a prosecutor could just straight-up assault the witness to get his point across. I g...

Re: S2E9 - The Measure of A Man

As I said elsewhere, this is one of my favorite episodes of the whole series. I am a sucker for pretty much any AI rights story. I feel like it's actually come up a few times now over the course of Watch Club that something is out of character for Picard, and I got that feeling again in this episode...
