Re: What are you reading?

I have been "reading", or listening to audio book versions. of Inherent Vice by Thomas Pynchon which is a pretty far out there book that's sort of about crime in the 80's but really more about culture, society, and the changing times of the 70's to the 80's. I've also been into the Leviath...

Re: Doom Patrol

I loved everything about Doom Patrol. I have no idea if they're ever going to make another season but this season was completely worth it. Such a solid cast and story in the wackiest possible way and I agree with you Jared, Diane Guerro is amazing as Jane. That must have been such a fun part to play...

Re: DwDD – Acquisitions Inc Part 2

Why have ability damage and not just have ability score damage. We've also discussed the whole jumping thing with strength. The fact that it's static and not some number plus a variable has always kind of bugged us. On the elves/Dwarves/ect front at article at D&D beyond is a pretty solid place ...

Re: Planet

I really do love Planet and can't give it enough love. It's a wonderful fun little game that plays quick, has a bunch of cute animals, and even if you don't win you feel like you built something. It's also just so much fun to manipulate the polyhedral planet.

Re: MMP#369 – Come Aboard

The red box is solid. There's a bunch of interesting ways to make games easier to play and get people into. I hope a number of the game designers in our circles start pushing this idea into their games. It's a pretty fascinating idea and could really make the barrier to RPGs much lower.

Re: House Hunting - the PBTA

So this is a solo rpg where you’re just going through the stages of finding a house using random die rolls?

I just want to be sure I understand the intent of the game.
