S4E1 & 2 - The Way of the Warrior

Worf!!!!!!! I selected this episode because it is the start of Season 4 and of course, WORF! This episode begins a tonal shift for the series as the new writers are starting to deliver on the groundwork they laid as they took over in Season 3. With TNG ending, and TNG: Generations wrapped, Michael D...

@GMGERRYMANDER The farm looks like MASH because they were likely filmed in the same area, rural CA.

Re: S3E9 - Defiant

I think that Marc Alaimo has done his job correctly, in that it's impossible ever like Gul Dukat. There is a brief instance later in the 5th season where he is almost likable, but then he does it again.

Re: The Too Many Rikers Theory

And exactly what does Mirror Universe Thomas Riker look like... I guess he is lazy, unmotivated, and can play Night Bird?

Re: S3E20 & 21 - Improbable Cause and The Die Is Cast

@RobAbrazado Those observations about Odo and Garak are so astute. Their shared desire to go home, and the path each one follows makes for great drama.

S3E26 - The Adversary

I selected this episode for a few reasons. One, it is the season finale for season 3. Two it shows another escalation in the Dominion conflict. Three, Odo harms another changeling. Four, it marks the promotion of Sisko to Captain. The episode starts strong with the promotion of Sisko to Captain. The...

Week 9: Episode List

Shields up! Red Alert! We are now entering the best seasons of DS9. Season 3 saw the departure of the original showrunner, Michael Pillar (who left to start Voyager) and the arrival of Stephen Ira Behr. Now Behr is fully at the helm of the show, and we are about to kick into warp speed. Behr is the ...

S3E26 - Facets

I selected this episode because we get a closer look at Dax's previous hosts. This is a fun episode where the cast of DS9 gets to play other characters for a few scenes. It is fun to see the various hosts displayed through established characters, the most humorous is the nurturing Audrid in Quark's ...
