S3 E17 Visionary

Amazing O'Brien Episode. At the time these shows were on, I wasn't aware how much Time Travel (and cross dimensional travel) occurred in Star Fleet. But it was always fun. But they did a great job with this one. And it showed how dedicated O'Brien is (and shows his growing friendship with Bashir) an...

Re: S3E11 and 12 - Past Tense

I thought Episode 12 was good. Episode 11 was slow, heavy handed, and mostly unneccessary. The entire Dax and Kira/Obrien subplots just slowed the story down and TBH, I was waiting for them to stop repeating themselves. Yes, we get it, the haves overlook the have nots. BC is an asshole. (I did like ...

Re: S3E3 - The House of Quark

Such a good Episode.

Shows more of what we have been seeing with Quark. He often starts at cowardice, but he has a begrudging level of honor and respect and is braver than he gives himself credit for.

Re: TOS S2E4 - Mirror Mirror

I grew up watching TOS and then again in college when it was on cable two or three times a night. I saw this Episode a lot and loved it. It's still a lot of fun. And I really like the Mirror uniforms. Also, I like how Kirk just rolls with the problems and deals pretty well with the completely weird ...

Re: S2E22 - The Wire

Such a good episode. And it shows Bashir as being much more confident and competent.

and Garak is always amazing.

Re: TNG S7E24 - Preemptive Strike

I was disappointed that the Enterprise didn't destroy the Maquis fighters attacking the Cardassian freighter. It's completely in character for Picard to give them a chance to break it off without a battle. However, if the torpedo strike hadn't worked, they would have destroyed another Cardassian shi...

Re: S2E12 - The Alternate

I also realized the music. It was slightly off from both Raiders of the Lost Ark and several horror movies.

Really well done to fit the story and did a good job of setting the tone.

Re: S2E12 - The Alternate

Yes, the Obelisk was a Red Herring.

But by now "bring the unknown artifact/tech onto the ship/station without any precautions" is a tried and true Star Trek Trope.

I notice it, but I accept it.

Re: S2E8 - Necessary Evil

Also, that Quark doesn't flinch when confronted with someone trying to kill him. No begging. No negotiating. He just stares the enemy down until he is shot.

Re: S2E7 - Rules of Acquisition

I also like how Quark finally stands up, showing that he has morals that override his greed.
