S6E24 - Second Chances
I selected this episode because it introduces Thomas Riker. This is another Transporter Accident episode. This time resulting in another Riker! As a story, it is an interesting plot. A person split at a single moment in time, who then go on to live two different lives, only to meet years later. For ...

S6E23 - Rightful Heir
I picked this episode because it adds another piece to Worf's story, but it also has implications to the Klingon Government and people. Worf's arc has been one of finding his place in his heritage. He has been the outsider wrestling with finding his culture while being a stranger in a strange land. ...

S6E20 - The Chase
I selected this episode because it sheds some light on the similarities of the various species in the Star Trek universe. This science mystery brings together a number of Star Trek species on a biological scavenger hunt. Character-wise, we learn a bit more about Picard, but really the focus of the e...

S6E19 - Lessons
I selected this episode because it is a strong Picard episode and because of its strong ties to The Inner Light. For the most part, Picard is a pretty private person, and not too lucky in the love department. Over the series, we have seen him in several failed romances, but in this episode, he has a...

Re: S6E16 & 17 - Birthright
Astute observations about Worf. I think he grows more after TNG, but he is hindered by HIS image of Klingon culture. I really liked Kaylar and she challenged his views on Klingons.
And nice pick up on Ted's Mom.

S6E16 & 17 - Birthright
I selected this episode for two reasons. One, it is another part of Worf's history and also is a good set of Worf stories. Two, it is our first glimpse at Deep Space Nine. When DS9 started the writers leaned heavily on TNG to give the show a boost. The first episode of DS9 has a TNG tie in, and seve...

Re: s6E14
I included this episode in the list because I thought it was a good Troi episode, and representative of some of the better writing she gets at the end of the series. The changed into another species trope is a trope, and we will see it later in DS9 as well. But I like this story because it shows tha...

Re: S6E15 Tapestry
I selected this episode because it reveals an interesting side to Picard, as well as it is a Q episode. I have always enjoyed this episode, and I love how Q teaches Picard that we should live life with no regrets. That we are the sum of our experiences, and that making one change, can drastically ch...
