Tales of the Old Margreve Campaign Journal on my Blog

Post by Jared Rascher »

For anyone interested, I started a new series on my blog where I'm looking at what I changed and why as I run my Tales of the Old Margreve adventure for D&D 5th edition. This post covers what we did, and what I changed, coming out of session zero.

Now it's time for part four, as we finish up the Fingers of Derende, and the DM (me), makes a decision that he immediately regrets, which he attempts to address by (gasp) talking to the players between session instead of trying some kind of wonky in-game fix. Also, scarf eating.

And the next installment of the campaign journal is up, this time, looking at how our group resolved The Honey Queen, as well as where I stole from Adventures in Middle-Earth to flesh out an encounter.
