One of my favorite escalation mechanics is the static table from Lacuna Part 1 (second attempt). It's basically a custom chart of weird events that ramp up as the players make more rolls and disrupt Blue City.

That's totally funny...I brought up Lacuna as well in the chat during the show, but I was thinking of the beads-in-the-jar thing from the first one! :D
