S3E22 - the Most Toys

Post by dnaphil »

I selected this episode because it is a great Data episode.

This episode explores parts of Data's personality as he is captured and under duress. The facial acting by Spiner in this is great. He conveys so much with his looks and face.

For me, this episode is all about the climax. The transporter scene speaks volumes to who Data is. His remarks to Riker are especially telling.

One of my favorite episodes.

Such a great villain.

And the ending is one of my favorites.

Says a lot about everyone.

Does Data get better at reading bluffs?

The only thing I really wanted to say about this episode is that it is 100% my headcanon that Fajo is a distant descendant/relation of Artie from Warehouse 13.

Really good Data episode, with the (once again) glaring-to-modern eyes exception of the bad guy fridging his assistant, a woman, for no other reason than to prove how terrible he is. That weapon would have been much scarier if they never actually showed it work.

I always regretted that Fajo never returned.

I'm still upset that I never got to see the last season of that show.
