I'm not active on the Slack. What's happened with Chris? I've been noticing he's missing from several episodes of MM and DwDnD

Chris is currently suspended while an investigation is underway. This news post explains.

It's been a couple of months. Any updates?

The latest update is here. In brief, an HR consultant was brought on board a couple weeks ago to oversee the investigation. They're accepting any further information people wish to bring forward. Contact details are in the news post, and all reports go directly to the consultant without contact with MMP leadership.

The investigation is still currently underway. It is hopefully close to completion, but there's no solid date yet. There will be an update as soon as more information is available.

Frankly, I think the amount of time spent is already absurd.

Everyone involved deserves better.

You had clearly stated target dates before that since evaporated without comment, and now won't even try to commit to new ones. Do the parties really want this resolved, or not? Keeping things open indefinitely is not fair to anyone.

Our initial time table was thrown in to a tail spin by the pandemic, which influenced the availability of parties involved. Of course it's frustrating for everyone that we don't have firm dates right now, but it's also a priority to us to handle this in the best way that we could. Our third party has completed a lot of work behind the scenes and we are awaiting the compilation of information as of this week. Of course we would have liked to have kept things to our original anticipated dates, but progress has continued to be made.

We will have an official announcement when we have the information and recommendations from our contractor.

This should have auto-posted in the news section already, but because this thread was already taking place, just a quick note that we've put up the latest update about the investigation. Please read the post itself for more info, but in brief, the investigation is complete, and Chris's suspension is going to continue through to early next year.
