Re: Week 3: Episode List

Hello.

Our link for the Watch Party for Deja Q is: https://www.netflix.com/watch/70177923? ... rverId=s76

NOTE - The second episode is NOT contiguous (I thought it was) so there will be a second URL for Yesterday's Enterprise.
I will post it here between episodes.

Re: S2E9 - The Measure of A Man

Riker having to be the prosecution was a bit forced, but the emotions of the moment where he turned Data off, was visceral.

Week 3: Episode List

Welcome to Week 3. This week, we get int some really good episodes. Season 2 was much better than Season 1, and Season 3 just builds upon the good work in Season 2. Our list starts half-way through, but there are a number of earlier episodes that are good, but none that I thought needed to be on the...

S2E20 - The Emissary

I selected this episode because of the introduction of Kaylar. Once again, this episode has a great episodic structure. It has a main problem, the Klingon Sleeper ship, and then it has a character-based sub-plot. In this case, we see that Worf and Kaylar have some kind of history. I really enjoy whe...

S2E16 - Q Who

I selected this episode because it introduces The Borg. Q episodes are always tricky, in that the crew is at the whim of Q, which can be frustrating, but I love Delancy's acting. This episode teaches Picard a lesson in humility, that humanity may not be prepared for anything, but in true Q style he ...

S2E9 - The Measure of A Man

I selected this episode because this is considered by many critics, the first great TNG episode. This episode is great. The writing on it is amazing, and as PK had mentioned to me after watching it, it is what TNG does best, Speculative Science Fiction in a 45 min episode. The core question of the e...

S2E8 - A Matter of Honor

I picked his one for two reasons. The first was that this was a first look at the Klingons, a species that we will see a lot of going forward. Over the years the writers refine Klingon culture and build upon it, but this episode shows some of the cornerstones. Second, I like this episode. It's a goo...
