Re: S1E5 - Where No One Has Gone Before

Hey, folks, jump in in late, but happy to be catching up. One thing that's sort of lodged in my head recently is how edgy the idea of 'the rape gangs' seemed in the 90s in my late teens, like it was such an obvious counterpoint to the Utopianist rhetoric, but how problematic and heavy-handed that so...

Re: Week 1: Episode List

Hahah Skin of Evil proves the thesis that the most significant episodes of TNG and the best do not form a perfect Venn diagram overlap.

Privet visem! It's a new episode of Just Played, featuring a progress report on the Night Witches in our ongoing campaign to play through the entire war! In each episode I go over the story line for that session, talk about my favorite moments, a ...

Re: New Topic Ideas

Hey, Pandas! This may not be a full topic, but maybe as a Grab Bag item... what's your thoughts on balancing The New Hotness with the Old Standbys? Everyone has a different ideal ratio of trying new things to sticking with what they know. Trying new things is what keeps game designers (and retailers...

Re: New Topic Ideas

Hey, Pandas! I'd love to hear your take on campaigns that have players dropping in and out (either because you're playing Open Table style like the Gauntlet or just because you've got a group that's in flux, like at a game store or in a school situation where players come and go and lives happen). L...

Re: The Game Master

I'm actually a pretty big fan of the Apocalypse World 'ME' terminology. The Master of Ceremonies directs the lineup, and cues the audience in to what's going on, but they aren't the show, they're there to help all the acts shine...
