Re: Three Forged Jam 2019
Sounds cool, I don't know if I'd be able to participate. Too much going on ATM not getting enough of my own writing done.

Re: Just Played, an RPG Recap Podcast
I'm struggling to keep up on my podcasts at the moment. I used to have tons of time for podcasts but I started a new job that doesn't afford me the opportunity to listen while I work. I'll try and grab some time and give a listen though.

Re: MMP#376 – Fictional Positioning
I think a lot of game groups default to what is mechanically effective. "I throw the brazier at the monster." is prone to the GM deciding it had no effect. Is that good GMing? Probably not, but the GM probably is afraid of the players abandoning their swords and taking up a life of hurling...

Re: Stargate RPG - dream design
I'm going to go way out on a limb here and suggest a custom sub routine for adventure design in a Stargate game. In a number of episodes, you get introduced to a new alien, culture, technology or ability. In subsequent episodes that element is developed and then later, it's mature and the characters...

Consent In Gaming
There's a lot of hate being thrown around about this document. I think a lot of it is strange because it's saying the checklist does the opposite of what it does. So the arguments mainly fall under the concept that consent undermines (usually the GM's) creativity. This is a loss of some agency for t...

Re: Into The Breach
Finished Into The Breach last night and got the secret squad. The hardest achievements were not powering a modification for three islands, and destroying the time pods. Well that was fun.

Re: PTG173 – Pumpkin Spice Grab Bag
On co-GMing, I've done this several times. The important thing is, like was said, a good division of labor. Usually, a first time GM is afraid that they lack system mastery or they don't feel like they can juggle the 8 skills all at once. What the co-GM is there to do in that case is to be tech supp...
