Interest in a Play by Post game?
Interest in a Play by Post game?
I used to love play by post games and would love to see one happening on our forums. I'm willing to DM a D&D 5e play by post. Anyone interested?

I have not done a play by post in a long time. I'm definitely interested.

I am interested. I have never successfully been in a play-by-post game that has gone anywhere, so I am curious.

I'd love to support this on the forum, so I'm keeping an eye on this topic, but also ping me if you're ready to get started and want to set up a special area for it.

Re: Interest in a Play by Post game?
I love PBP games.
I played in a ton of them back in the Pathfinder 1E days. ( We had rotating GMs who ran 10 assorted Adventure Paths at the same time.)
Also had a great time with a different group on the DP9 forums running two different Heavy Gear games.
Plus a few recent Shaintar games (which went poorly) and a TFT game that went one for several years until the GM had to pull back and I took over for a year running the group adventures.
And I ran an Eberron PBP using the Ironclaw rules as well as a Pathfinder Second Darkness Campaign using PBP.
All of them had different ways of handling some things. (The HG games were fun, because most of it was roleplaying, and always narrative. When dice were needed, you told the GM in a separate post what you wanted to do, they told you the mechanical results, and they the players posted the actual description in character in the game.)
I would be very interested.

I'm also potentially interested in this. I've had poor experiences with PBP in the past, but willing to give it another try.

I've never had a PBP game last long but I'd be interested in trying again!
