Week 8: Episode List

Post by dnaphil »

Welcome to Season 4.

We will be spending 4 weeks covering most of the episodes in this season. For me, this is where the show hits its stride. We are going to start the show with a few major events. First, we are going to get a new major character and say goodbye to another. Second, some season 3 tension is going to break revealing a relationship. The season just keeps getting better from there.

This week's episodes are good stories, but most of them are character building, as the writers set up some of the new dynamics, mentioned above.
Here is our episode list:

Here are my thoughts on this week's episodes:

The Gift - This is where we gain a new member of the crew, who has trouble adapting, to their new environment, as well as the departure of a major character who embarks on new voyages. We will wind up seeing them again before the series concludes.

Day of Honor - Our new crew member is ruffling feathers trying to work with the crew. The warp core gets stolen, and there is a confession that we have been waiting to hear.

Nemesis - This is a Chakotay episode. It is a bit of a break from the character building, and a good story.

Revulsion - The Doctor and B'Elanna have a creepy away mission. Harry and our new crew member work on a new project, and Harry makes it weird.

The Raven - Our new member gets a character-building episode where we learn a bit of their background.

Scientific Method - There is some kissing going on in this episode. Then it gets weird as strange mutations overtake the crew. A good story and a bit of a morality issue.

Bonus Episodes
There are no bonus episodes this week, we are working our way through the episodes in order.
