Gamer Aspects

Post by Blake Ryan Batman »

So this year I have been a co-player with, player for, and gm for 1 guy on the Gauntlet, but it occurred to me despite playing rpgs for 30 years, there are very few people I have seen all 3 gamer aspects. May be because I am usually the main or backup GM. Do others have this experience or different?

I'm almost always the GM but years ago we rotated the position regularly and with my current group we've rotated a few times.

Right now I am GMing more than I am playing, but I enjoy playing quite a bit.

Since I facilitate a lot I don't often get to see someone in all three phases but I'm pretty sure Phil is one of them. I'm also know Mark Knapik is another as is Drew Smith. Both on pretty large scales. I'm sure there are others but I actually don't enjoy a lot of the GMs I've played with. They don't really suit me very well.

It goes back and forth for me.

For most of my gaming career, I've been the GM. Its only recently that I've been able to play more. But the GMing bug still hits.
